What the Mac app adds

Its own window in the Dock, apart from the browser and its tabs. From any app, ⌘⇧Space brings nenspace forward with working memory open and the cursor in it, ready for a thought.

Closing the window keeps nenspace running, so the shortcut still works. ⌘Q quits it. Links to other sites open in the default browser.

Install

  1. Download the .dmg above.
  2. Open it and drag nenspace into Applications.
  3. Open nenspace from Applications and sign in.

Updates

The window shows the live nenspace.com, so most changes arrive without an update. When the app itself has a new version, nenspace asks at launch before installing it. To look sooner, choose Check for Updates in the nenspace menu.

Requirements

macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. Like the website, it needs an internet connection.

Removing it

Quit nenspace with ⌘Q, then delete it from Applications. Notes, tasks and the rest stay in the account, on the web and iOS.
