By using Nen, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

Nen is an AI-powered companion for reflection, journaling, habit tracking, note-taking, and personal insight. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nen. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Nen offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are available as monthly or annual auto-renewable plans.

• Pro Monthly — billed monthly, renews automatically until cancelled.
• Pro Annual — billed annually, renews automatically until cancelled.

On iOS, subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage your subscription from Settings > Billing within the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Nen for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits.
• Use Nen to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Nen, including conversations, notes, journal entries, habits, and tasks. We do not claim any rights over your content. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

AI-generated responses

Nen uses AI models to generate responses. These responses are provided for informational and reflective purposes only. They may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation. You should not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.

Availability and changes

We strive to keep Nen available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Limitation of liability

Nen is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of Nen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
